Matthias Beckmann and Sandra Havlicek see and experience the city from different perspectives. While he documents everyday situations in the immediate neighborhood with his watercolor drawings created on-site, she is interested in the higher-level structures and contexts of the metropolis, which she translates into a complex sculptural work.
