As the New Year approaches Vimochana  collaborated with 1.Shanthiroad and  has come out with it’s annual Desktop Calendar, a major source of fund-raising for it’s work on issues related to violence against women.

The theme for this year's Calendar is "At Home in the World: Women in Public Spaces" through which we want to celebrate the women who have fearlessly made themselves visible in public spaces, a space largely construed of as a masculine space. Six Bangalore-based photographers have contributed their stunning black and white images to the Calendar.
