As part of
Art Fervour Weekender 2022
About the show:
'We are the Aliens We are Looking for' brings together works around ideas of the strange, weird and different that we often tend to 'other'. Thinking of the atypical as a metaphor for the alien and alienation as an act of othering. Perhaps the little aliens, the quirks and weirdness that we know inside of us, we seek, pursue or avoid and reject outside of us. That which makes us uniquely human and that which can remind us to 'dasein', just exist together.

As part of the program, there will be artist film and experimental video screenings throughout the day, alongside sculpture, drawings, a special comic and experimental music. It features Indian, Singaporean, Iranian
artists.
